Description 

Hi,

I work at the Institut de Biologie Structurale in Grenoble, France, and 
I use the SBGrid installation to upload ChimeraX to my computer.

I have a mac computer (macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) with the ChimeraX version 1.8.

I encounter some difficulties, I have trouble reproducing actions, such 
as labelling residues or visualising contacts.

The actions do not work and the error message in the log is :

I don't know how to fix it.

Could you help me ?

I suggest you try ChimeraX 1.12 available from SBGrid. It uses a newer Qt window toolkit. The warning in your ChimeraX Log is from the Qt window toolkit, and is a Qt bug which happens most often when connecting an disconnecting external displays.

If using ChimeraX 1.12 does not fix the problem please use ChimeraX menu entry Help / Report a Bug... and I will investigate further.
