[Chimera-users] .dx file problem

Hi Greg,

I see this is a bit confusing. You need a surface to color. Usually
this is a molecular surface. You would make such a surface by opening
an atomic model (e.g. PDB file) and using menu entry Actions / Surface /
Show. Then you would select that surface in the Surface Color dialog
and press the Color button.

If you don't have any molecular surface and just want to see an
isopotential surface then open the file, close the surface color dialog
and then use menu entry

Tools / Volume Data / Volume Viewer

to show the volume dialog. Click on the apbs file name shown in the
volume dialog.
