Data files used in Chimera class demonstrations and tutorials:

Analyzing and comparing structures (Apr 7, 2009): chimera-analysis.tar.gz
Exploring sequence-structure relationships (Apr 14, 2009): chimera-seqstruct.tar.gz

Depending on the browser settings, you may need to doubleclick the downloaded file to expand it to the corresponding folder.

If you cannot find the automatic download location, instead right-click or Ctrl-click the link and choose the option to save the link file "as", which allows you to specify the location.

If the dashboard keeps popping up when you use the mouse: choose System Preferences from the apple menu, Exposé & Spaces section, click Exposé button, change Dashboard "Hide and show" mouse button to - (none).

Mac focus-follows-mouse preference:
defaults write org.x.x11 wm_ffm -bool true
(can enter into Terminal.app or apply with the Chimera system command; either way, the change only takes effect after X11 is restarted)
