I know this is an old thread, but I thought it would be worth pinging. I maintain some open source projects on SourceForge (and as well as on GitHub and GitLab). These are https://sourceforge.net/projects/nmr-relax/ , https://sourceforge.net/projects/minfx/ , and https://sourceforge.net/projects/bmrblib/. I am also the caretaker of the NESSY software from Michael Bieri which could be described as in a state of hibernation until someone comes along, as Michael is no longer in the NMR field. And I plan on setting up a SourceForge page for it. Ok, I just set up the page, added the code to a new git repository (following the instructions on the Git link on SourceForge), and uploaded it:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/nmr-nessy/

These projects are all GPLv3+, or GPLv2+ for NESSY, licensed. Note that the software relax has support for Sparky peak lists, as Sparky is probably by far the best software for analyzing spectra for NMR relaxation. And I always recommend people use Sparky for this job, hence my interest.

I think it would be great if a SourceForge page for Sparky were to be quickly created, a GPL licence added, and the code uploaded into a blank git repository. This is a very quick process (the NESSY page and repository took less than 10 min to set up). That would future-proof this awesome asset for the NMR community. Please consider this option :)

Cheers,
Edward
