Beloved Night #2

It seems that
these poems have been waiting
for you
to be written,
as though they were written
on the inside of my soul
and I would need
to turn myself
inside out
to see them,
or wait for you
to come and read them
to me.
Was it you
who wrote them
there?

Beloved Night #10: Glory

My eyes are wide open.
They can not take in
any more of the radiance
that surrounds you and I.
Instead the light
enters my pores
and I glow from within;
so full am I
of you,
glorious one.
You see this look
upon my face?
You know what it is,
because it is exactly
the same gaze
I see when
I gaze at you.
We know the face of love.
