Pseudobond Group Attributes
Once a group of pseudobonds
has been chosen in the left
side of the Pseudobond Panel, clicking
the attributes... button in the right side of the panel brings up
a window that lists the pseudobond group's attributes and allows them to
be changed.
While the pseudobond attributes panel controls properties of
groups of pseudobonds, properties of an individual pseudobond
can be modified by selecting the pseudobond
and making changes with the
Selection Inspector.
Pseudobond group attributes are:
- group-level color - color at the pseudobond group level; see
coloring hierarchy
- changing group color removes individual colors - whether changing
the group-level color (above) will change all pseudobonds in the group
to that color and erase memory of any individually assigned colors
(individually assigned colors override the group-level color;
see coloring hierarchy)
- display - since this is an attribute of individual
pseudobonds and the currently described group may contain more than one
pseudobond, a variety of values may be present; if so,
the value is reported to be -- multiple --.
If one of the other options is selected, then
all pseudobonds in the group will be changed accordingly.
The if atoms shown option makes pseudobond display
depend on the display of the flanking atoms.
- -- multiple --
- on
- off
- if atoms shown
- bond style - pseudobond draw mode.
Since this is an attribute of individual
pseudobonds and the currently described group may contain more than one
pseudobond, a variety of values may be present; if so,
the value is reported to be -- multiple --.
If one of the other options is selected, then
all pseudobonds in the group will be changed accordingly.
- -- multiple --
- wire
- stick
- line width - pixel thickness of lines drawn to show
pseudobonds in the wire draw mode
- stick diameter - angstrom
thickness of pseudobonds in the stick draw mode
- halfbond mode - whether the two halves of a pseudobond are
handled as separate entities; when halfbond mode is on,
the color of each halfbond matches that of the attached atom.
Since this is an attribute of individual pseudobonds,
a variety of values may be present simultaneously; if so,
the value is reported to be -- multiple --.
If one of the other options is selected, then
all pseudobonds in the group will be changed accordingly.
- dashed lines enabled - whether lines drawn to show pseudobonds
in the wire draw mode are broken
- length of odd dashes - if dashed lines are enabled,
the unscaled pixel length of every other "dash" (can be a dot)
- length of even dashes - if dashed lines are enabled,
the unscaled pixel length of the alternate set of "dashes" (can be dots)
- dash/space scale - multiplicative scale factor for
all dashes and spaces if dashed lines are enabled
