• Conrad will move previous action items into trac where appropriate
• Greg will look into implementing interpolating ribbons and displaying ribbons for structures with only backbone atoms
• Greg will remove lens code from Chimera core
• Scooter will look into providing non-staff access to trac -- will be done Friday
• Everyone will look at open trac issues and assign milestones if possible -- still working through them
• Scooter and Eric will create and account for Wei to access trac -- depends on completing non-staff access to trac
• Conrad will look into disabling stereo in orthographic view
• tef will contact Adobe for more information about embedding 3d graphics in PDF documents -- add as a low priority enhancement request to trac

1. 3D printer
   • TomF brought Chimera models printed on the uPrint
   • molmap versions works fine
   • X3D->STL converter still has issues with Nucleotides graphics, eg filled polygons
   • Printer resolution (~0.01 inch) is visible to the naked eye
   • Very high resolution STL files still has contour artifacts so there is no point in generating very small triangles
2. Zeiss video glasses
   • VGA-resolution non-stereo glasses
   • Peter Walter is interested in whether it will work with Chimera
3. ACS Molecular Visualization Symposium
   • August in Washington, D.C.
   • One track of ACS meeting
   • Top 8 molviz apps are invited
4. Meeting with Sali group
   • Meet again in two weeks
   • More focused topics with everyone invited
   • Possibly interesting topics
     • Small angle Xray scattering
     • Multifit extension
     • Restraint visualization
     • Web services architecture
     • IMP data hierarchy
   • Goal is to kick off discussion on what data they have and what people want or don't want

5. Test lab status
   • Test machines are up and running with XP, Vista and one flavor of Linux on each
   • Demo machines will get daily builds pushed to them
   • Custom versions of Chimera should be installed in user accounts, not system location
