Description
I've been putting together an automated benchmark routine for ISOLDE (run defined simulations on a set of different sized models, and record various performance stats) and realised it would make sense to add info about the machine to the log file (essentially the same info as is added to bug reports). For now I've got it using the below, but that approach involves using private methods from `bug_reporter.bug_report_gui` for the general system info and duplicating code from `BugReporter` for the GPU info. I wonder if you'd consider turning these into part of the supported API? I can imagine they could be useful for other developers in future.
