For example for 5isz chain C is a peptide ligand and it would be useful to know how many residues it contains.

Fancier and also useful would be to list the residue count as 159 of 250 if the known sequence is 250 residues but only 159 are present in the structure.  If the sequence is not known it could just say 159.
