I already have ChimeraX 1.5 installed. I was running ChimeraX 1.4 because that is also installed. It is perhaps not too uncommon that users will keep multiple versions installed. Could the update check also look at preferences and see if the newer version is already installed? Unfortunately I did not remember I had already installed 1.5 on this Linux machine so I tried to install it again.
