Quick thought while on the run: you might want to consider having ""open xxxx from EDS"" pull down both 2Fo-Fc and Fo-Fc maps (and display the latter at +/- 3 sigma). The Fo-Fc difference map is very important in crystallography - it points out where the model is wrong far more clearly than you can get from just looking at Fo-Fc. 

Given a bit more work on the Clipper plugin (on the back burner for the next little while) it will be possible to generate the maps directly from the coordinates and the structure factor file (xxxx-sf.cif) pulled from the PDB.
