Compared to Tools / Volume Data / Volume Mean, SD, RMS in plain old UCSF Chimera, the 'measure mapstats' command in ChimeraX, as well as Tools / Volume Data / Map Statistics, give me totally different values. The values from the old Chimera can be used to produce the expected sigma values from the contour level in the volume window, which leads me to suspect that the values that ChimeraX reports are not right.
