Description
Volume Viewer panel step and surface menus on macOS don't popup if you click on the blue down arrow.  This is confusing, they seem broken.  They only work if you click on the middle of the button.  On Windows it is working correctly.  In ChimeraX 1.1.1 on macOS it is working correctly.  Seems to be a change in Qt 5.15 vs 5.12.  Volume viewer is doing some nasty setting of style sheets on the button to reduce the vertical space used.  Removing that fixes the problems but makes the buttons tall and with undesired vertical padding.

The best fix I could find tinkering for half an hour was to add spacing -4 above and -5 below the row of widgets using flayout.addSpacing(-5).
