Would it be possible to write information to the EXIF when saving as TIFF or JPG? Particularly I am thinking about information pertaining to volume display - in figures it is common practice to give the map threshold as either an absolute value or in x r.m.s. terms. This requires remembering what threshold I used, or writing it in the filename. If it was possible to automatically record this information in the EXIF that would be a great help, and perhaps if it is possible there might be other information that would be useful to record here too - e.g. the paths and names of displayed models and maps.
