Dear ChimeraX team,

I am experiencing a display problem with UCSF ChimeraX version 1.10.1
(2025-07-24). When I start ChimeraX, the main window opens and I can load
and view structures, but whenever I open any tool from the Tools menu, the
toolbox area is completely black, with no visible widgets or text and no
controls or content are visible (printscreen attached). The 3D view remains
visible and responsive, but the tool panels are unusable. This happens
every time I try to open a tool, even after restarting the program.

My system info is:
GPUs: Intel UHD Graphics (ADL-S GT0.5) and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB
Laptop GPU
OS: Lux 2 (Bellatrix), 64‑bit
Kernel: Linux 6.12.8-lux-amd64
Desktop: GNOME 48
Windowing system: X11

Please let me know if there are any specific environment variables,
graphics settings, or debug options that I can try to help diagnose this
issue.
