1758	Ribbon color change slow because it recomputes ribbon	Tom Goddard	Tom Goddard	"Changing any ribbon residue color causes the shape of the entire ribbon to be recomputed which is very slow.  Would like ribbon color changes not to recompute ribbon shape.

Tristan noted this problem in ticket #1754 where he tried to update ribbon color every frame.
