Hi,

My name is Jill and I am a graduate student at University of Maryland, Baltimore. I am trying to install ChimeraX. I am using the Ubuntu operating system, version 24.04. I have tried downloading the latest ChimeraX version 1.8, the Daily build and the CI build technology preview and have followed the accompanying instructions for all of them.

All three times I receive an error in the code that there are broken packages. The error message reads “libosmesa6: Depends: libglapi-mes (+24.0.5-1ubuntu1) but 24.0.9-0ubuntu0.1 is to be installed. E: unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages” Do you have any suggestions for how to overcome this issue?
