Hi,

  Can you tell me what the error message is when you try to open CNS or
XPLOR density maps in Chimera?

  The Chimera CNS/XPLOR file reader only handles ASCII format (as described
in the Chimera manual).  Perhaps you are trying to read a binary format
file.  If that is the problem, I may be able to add support for reading
the binary format.
