Most likely it is not a problem with Sparky.
Is libX11.so.6 in your path?
Was it recently installed? Maybe try running ldconfig

If you are still having issues make a soft link to a directory you know is in your path. ln -s /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 /usr/bin/libX11.so.6 or some such. If that doesnt work then it is probably a Sparky issue.

I have tried to run sparky on a PC 64 bit runing debian lenny 5.0.4
It failed and I got this error message:

error while loading shared libraries: libX11.so .6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

But I have:
ls libX11* -l
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1965874 sep 25 2008 libX11.a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 avr 15 11:51 libX11.so - libX11.so.6.2.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 avr 14 14:41 libX11.so.6 - libX11.so.6.2.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1096880 sep 25 2008 libX11.so.6.2.0

Sparky runs fine on a PC 32bit runing Debian Lenny 5.0.4
libX11.so.6 is located at the same place with the same permission.

Is the problem due to 64bit PC?
Do you have any solution.
