Release Status

The OTF is currently in it's first alpha release (version 2.0, alpha 1). This version has proved to be functional and reliable in internal use, and we are releasing it externally to get feedback on problems, shortcomings and desired features. Some parts of the OTF were not quite ready for the alpha release but should be in the first beta. Those are:

• Increased error checking in genlib
• Further documentation
• Additional components:
  • Molgraph
    • Connectivity support useful to molecular graphics
    • Tracking non-covalent atom associations (H-bonds, constraints, etc.)
    • Ring finding
  • Access
    • support for indirect access to member data (necessary if member data is determined at run-time, i.e. mmCIF)
