Hi,

Im a new Sparky user as well as a new Linux user. Like some others, Sparky is not responding to keyboard inputs. Im running the most recent version of Ubuntu using VMware Player on Windows 7. I thought it might have been a problem with the VMware tools, but re-installing it did not change anything.

I saw on one forum that it might be due to SCIM. I dont think I have SCIM enabled, but Im not entirely sure how to check it.

I also saw the previous post that talked about a fix on Fedora 19 with the default Gnome session. Being a new Linux user, I am not sure how to translate those edits to my system or if it would even apply.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
