Hi Bill,

Did you use these linux Sparky install instructions

http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/home/sparky/manual/install.html#InstallUnix

where it says you can run

/usr/local/sparky/bin/sparky

If you want to just be able to type sparky in a terminal youd need to put /usr/local/sparky/bin on your execution search path.

Hello, guys,
I am a total newbie about linux and sparky, well, dont laugh. I am still learning. I am using ubuntu, and i followed the direction and installed the sparky under terminal with root. However, after I type the command and hit enter, nothing happen, no error, nothing. But I cannot find where did it install at?

Can someone offer me some suggestion.
