Mehul,

Ive encountered a similar problem when trying to read Sparky generated PostScript files in Inkscape. Here is the workaround Ive used:

1. Use ps2pdf to convert the Sparky generated PostScript into a pdf. (e.g. ps2pdf spectrum.ps spectrum.pdf )
2. Open the new pdf in your desired program (Inkscape, Corel Draw, etc.)

ps2pdf is part of Ghostscript, a free download for nearly every computing platform. Ghostscript is easily installed on a Mac via Fink, or using Yum on certain flavors of UNIX. Windows 64-bit and 32-bit executables are also available:

More information on ps2pdf can be found here:

The other alternative (albeit an expensive one) is to use Adobe Illustrator. I know that Illustrator CS2 opens Sparky generated PostScript files with no problem. However, ps2pdf + Inkscape work great too and are free.

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to print a post script file from sparky
using the pt accelerator followed by the save button. It is making a
post script file but when I try to open or import it in Corel Draw I get
the following error device error reported by postscript interpreter.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
