Sparky does not have a way to save default settings such as initial
spectrum window size, contour level, .... Those are unfortunately fixed
in the code. The settings in the resources file you mentioned include
font sizes and colors and text labels seen in dialog windows.

I understand file /sparky/lib/Sparky defined all the variables of the
default settings, but where are the default values for these variables?
In other word, can we change the default settings such as spectrum
aspect ratio, assignment format, toggle show contour scale, set contour
levels, etc.?
