I vaguely recall thinking the pause happened because when the first peak
is deleted the resonances peak list dialog gets initialized which makes
many cascaded menus (assuming you have lots of peaks assigned) and that
creating those menus causes the delay. I only do basic maintenance on
Sparky right now and that does not include investigating performance issues.

Hi,

Sparky always hangs for few seconds when we do any deletion for the
first time and this happens only in unix and not in windows, can
anyone suggest a way to fix this bug please ?
