Hi,

There is no capability in Sparky to hide the triangle that connects
assignment labels to peak markers.

You can create a label that is not associated with a peak by choosing
pointer mode add label (F6) and then click on the spectrum, and type
in label text in the Label dialog. You could show an assignment in
such a label but it would not be associated with any peak. Obviously
that is of limited use. Maybe adequate for a figure though. If you do
find that useful you can hide the normal assignment labels and triangles
by selecting the peaks (use pa to select all peaks in a spectrum) and
using lB to hide peak labels, and lb to reshow the assignment labels.
