If you use recent versions of NMRFAM-Sparky, you will have .ucsf file generated in the directory where you have 2rr in if the directory is writable.

Using 2rr is less efficient than using .ucsf format because of tile size so when your view extent is smaller, sparky doe not real a whole spectrum when .ucsf is being used which makes it faster.
