Thanks so much, Woonghee. I just got it worked out. the overlay command could not work for two spectra with unmatched dimension ranges for the old sparky. So to give it a try, i downloaded the NMRFAM-sparky. Wow, i immediately noticed the nicer interface compared to the older version, and overlay command in this nmrfam-sparky works even for my two 3D ncacx with slightly different ranges along two indirect dimensions! Feel great!

BTW, i noticed there are 64 bit version for linux. Is that one more powerful than the 32 bit version? I recall a few years ago we had probably to load large spectra and contacted u, if i recall correctly, u mentioned there is a limit of file size for 32 bit version. Does the 64 bit version have larger limit to display larger spectra files?

Thanks so much for ur warm help!

Bo

Dear Bo,

It is our workshop week... so I maybe too briefly just guessed what was going on.....
Have you tried ht (transpose crosshair) ?
If you dont mind sharing to me, you can privately send me the spectra, too.

Best,
Woonghee

Hi Bo,

You can overlay by using ol or eo.
If you want to have additional window for overlaid view, you can use vd to generate duplicated view.
You can change contour color by using ct or ec.
