DJ,

Do you see BYTORDP parameter in procs file? Why dont copy the data to your native directory and try? In your native directory, you can give permission. Please let me know how it worked.

Best,
Woonghee

Dear Woonghee,

I am having the same issue as Mailyn here. Ive never used Sparky on a windows machine before (Windows 7) and am simply having trouble converting the bruker 2rr files to ucsf files.

When I use the command prompt it utlimately says:
bruk2uscf: argc is 4
bruk2ucsf: NC_proc is set to 11.ucsf
bruk2ucsf: couldnt find parameter BYTORDP is M:procs

I dont understand as all the procs files are in the pdata file - am I missing something here?

Likewise when is use the GUI: I cannot create the uscf file.

Plus, I noticed that the topspin data file is set as a read only file. When I untick the greyed read only box in properties, and click OK to close the folder properties dialog box. Then Iright-click on the same folder and select Properties. Once again, the read-only attribute box is grayed out and the box is checked! Is this the source of my problem? If it is I will have to call the IT service since I dont have admin rights...

Secondly, Sparky is on the :C, whilst the Topsin data in on a different nettwork (;M) is that another source of my problem?

Many thanks in advance for you help,
DJ

Dear Woonghee,

I was trying to convert the Bruker file of a 3D experiment into ucsf format. I used the NMRFAM-Sparky = Utilities = easybruk2ucsf. I am not successful. I attached the print screen image of the error message in this email.

Thank you very much.

Mailyn
