Hello there,

Im in the process of learning Sparky and sorting through a ton of inherited 3D NMR data. Much of this inherited data is not neatly organized, and I cannot open any of the project files (.proj) without getting an error relating to a file either being absent or unable to read. The same goes for the individual .save files.

Ive been able to open some of the data files (.ucsf). But since the postdoc from whom I inherited all these data worked hard to assign the peaks of several 3D spectra, it would be best to avoid reinventing the wheel. I read through the Sparky manual and am starting to understand some of the file architecture, but there are still lots of things I dont understand.

For example, from the manual I understand that after youve done assignments in a Sparky project, you can save the list/export to a .list file. I have several of these .list files that I suspect were generated from the same .ucsf files Ive managed to open from scratch. But is there a way to load these .list files into an opened, unpicked spectrum .save or .proj ? If that question doesnt make sense, overall Im confused about where exactly the peaklist information is encoded in Sparky, and how I can transfer peaklists between spectra.

Thank you for your help!
