Compilation of Sparky for all the operating systems is not a trivial thing to do. It is also difficult for most people to develop C++ parts, but Python parts are easier. I have been asked to add developed extensions to be incorporated in our distribution so far, and I prefer doing that to keep the integrity of the software. However, I am thinking of big leap in a few months (or years) modernizing the program to the next level. This will need to be supported first. I think we can initialize community-wide project after that. I have maintained NMRFAM-SPARKY SVN, so please contact me if you are interested in development.
