It is difficult to figure the problem out with given backgrounds, however, let me guess...
Are the files related to your project are in the network file system?

It looks like in the background the .save files are already move

to .save.BAK so the open savefiles have disappeared. If one

removes on spectrum from the project saving works again, but

usually only for a while until the same problem appears.
