Thanks for the report.
CentOS 7 or RHEL 7 will not have any problem.
CentOS 6 or RHEL 6 will not work if all the patches applied.
CentOS 5 is okay.

That is, definitely theres some problem in the recent update.
Still I am confused because NMRFAMs CentOS 6 is fine even though all the patches has been applied.
I will look into package version differences from now on.
Please keep updated.

I ’ m attaching a picture of what I see when I try to open spectra in Sparky. I had the same issue with the old Sparky and updated to NMRFAM-Sparky in the hopes that it would fix my problem. It obviously didn ’ t.

What I just confirmed working is CentOS 6.7 (Final) and 2.6.32-573.3.1.el6.x86_86

Sorry I have been carrying workshop this week, and havent had enough time looking at it.
Quick fix will be rolling back definitely but I will look into it.
